Fulfillment Update Part Deux

Thank you all for your patience as we continue to ship out rewards, we are nearing completion with shipping packages to domestic backers.  I wanted to drop a short update; if your rewards included a "Deluxe" version, it will be going out as soon as the art prints arrive.  Also, if you chose to add the art print, the same applies.

Once we move on to international backers, we will give a more detailed update.

If you are not already enjoying your visit to the Abyssi cluster, you will be soon...

Fulfillment Update!

Hey everyone!

Thank you all for your patience with this through Covid. We have good news!

First off this shipment landed in the US several weeks ago. Unfortunately our cargo container got randomly flagged for an exam which we had no idea how long it would take. Despite having done dozens of shipments we've never been randomly selected for an exam before.

Luckily we had all our arrival  and manufacturing documents ready to go and it looks like it's scheduled for the exam to happen either tuesday or thursday. Once it passes the exam (and there's 100% no reason it wouldn't) then the container will be to us within a few days and we can begin fulfillment! Once the games are in our warehouse shouldn't take more than a week or two to finish all the Kickstarter fulfillment.

We'll keep you posted on this progress but we are SO close! Thank you again!

El asked that I send an update that "has a link to the unboxing video, says we'll be reaching out to retailers next week, and that we can't wait for games to hit our warehouse next month." But I said no. I'm definitely not doing that. I want to be authentic with the updates. I want to write from the heart. I'm an ARTISTÉ. A poet!

So here we go: if you're a retailer, sure you'll be hearing from Deep Water Games about stuff next week, but there's also these vibes I'm sending your way where the ENERGY simply says that I appreciate you. See? That felt good, right? I sure felt a connection.

The impatience for pallets of Sovereign Skies to arrive in the Deep Water warehouse next month is beginning to affect the staff in strange ways. Suspicion. Flitting eyes. Smelling sounds that aren't there. Is that howling from... a werewolf? The paranoia is real. Someone IS WATCHING. WAITING. Thankfully July happens right after June.

Here's the video that El and I did. Yes it's another unboxing video. Yes I already did an unboxing for the previous Update. Yes, after reading your mind, I see you just want me to shut up so we can get on with the new unboxing video. FINE.

Yeah this update was silly. I love you all! It's coming soon!

Hi all!

The world is in a chaotic state these days but Deep Water is making progress as best they can with Sovereign Skies, given the current circumstances. Shipping will likely now begin in early July to backers. 

I do have some pics to share and a video of the production copy so you can see the amazing component quality. And mind you, this is really something I could only dream of when I was designing this game. I'm really blown away by the great care and attention to detail from the Deep Water team. They've really done this designer proud.

Hello Backers!

Even in a pandemic, things are still moving with Sovereign Skies. Just wanted to pass along some pics and a great video of the box to get you all pumped about it arriving to your doorsteps some time in June!

Great news! We were given the opportunity to upgrade the base buildings at a nominal cost which means free upgrade for you. ;) So expect these taller bases to look amazing for gameplay. Table presence, baby! 

And this Chromium box is incredible! (It's even better IRL.)
